The Olive Branch Newsletter

Greetings mga Kasama and Friends,

Welcome to The Olive Branch Newsletter.

The olive branch is one of the oldest symbols of peace and reconciliation in the world. To extend an olive branch is to move from conflict to connection, to reach across difference, deepen understanding, and choose community over isolation. In a season of uncertainty for racial equity and social justice, that gesture has never felt more necessary or more radical.

This newsletter is for Filipina and Women of Color leaders navigating higher education and for the allies, colleagues, and institutions who are serious about standing alongside them. Each issue brings you leadership reflections rooted in lived experience, liberated mindfulness practices grounded in Filipino cultural values, and honest wisdom for the moments when leading feels heavy, lonely, or both.

Here, I write what doesn't fit in a slide deck or a strategic plan. I write for the leader who is tired of shrinking, the one still finding her voice, and the one who is ready to build something new.

When you subscribe, you'll receive a free 7-Day Ingat Ka™ Micro Meditation Script Bundle including seven short, culturally grounded practices to help you return to yourself in this season of change.

Ingat Ka. Take care of yourself. And Mabuhay!
